A PROGRAM OF EXCELLENCE

The Partners In Compliance is a program was developed with combined input from Alberta Transportation, WCB, the AMTA and various enforcement agencies.  The main focus of the program was to recognize those carriers that maintained a progressive safety program.  Further, the intent was to move the efforts of enforcement, enabling them to focus their manpower on the “not so safe” carriers.  The combination of these two actions would result in one final goal…safer roads.

The companies that are members of the Partners In Compliance program, are companies who strive for excellence in all areas of their business, including, but not limited to their safety practices, their hiring procedures, their preventative maintenance program, their training/re-training programs, their customer service, and their public recognition.  In short, the PIC member companies represent the best of the best in the business and fully deserve that positive recognition.

There are definite advantages and benefits to being a Partners In Compliance member company.  Some of the more notable would be the rating of “Excellent” on the Carrier Profile and the Safety Fitness Certificate, and recognition by shippers and school boards as a safe and responsible company.  Only those companies who have met and or exceeded the PIC Benchmarks and standards will receive an “Excellent” rating.  We have also developed a quarterly review of operations, which is submitted to the PIC Director for appraisal and review, and any issues are dealt with immediately, and in a pro-active manner with the companies’ management team and the PIC representative.  For more information on the industry benefits click the PIC link: www.partnersincompliance.com.
